Pastor – Mike & Robin Mullineaux
After a trip to West Jordan, Utah in November 2001, I was burdened for the people of Utah and the intermountain west. In February 2002, I returned for the Winter Olympics Gospel Outreach with my daughter where the Lord confirmed His desire for me to leave my career in telecommunications for full-time ministry at 38 years old.
My wife Robin and I returned to Utah in June 2002 for a survey of the State. After several days in both southern and northern Utah, we felt led of the Lord to plant the church in the Salt Lake Valley. In just a few short months after that survey, we returned for good and settled in Riverton City in November 2002. We planted Harvest Valley Baptist as a mission under our sending church, Jefferson Baptist Church, beginning in January 2003.
Since our inaugural Bible study at our apartment complex in 2003, we’ve seen the Lord do great things with souls saved, baptized and added to His church. The Lord has enabled our church to not only be a witness here in Utah, but has also given us the privilege to have a part in world-wide missions.
Biography: Pastor Mike was saved by the grace of God on July 4, 1992. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. The Mullineaux’s were married on September 2, 1990 and have one daughter, two sons with the Lord and two grandsons.
Assistant to the Pastor – Paul & Brittany McDavid
I met my wife, Brittany, in 2002 while attending Bible College in Oklahoma. We moved to Utah a year later and served at Park City Baptist Church. We moved to Salt Lake City and started attending Harvest Valley Baptist Church where my wife was saved. Praise the Lord!
In 2013 we moved to Ohio where I served as the Youth Pastor, Song Leader, and Bus Route Director at First Baptist Church of Springboro. Later we moved north to help out a church plant, Gospel Light Baptist Church. I served in the same ministries there and it was such a blessing to be a part of a new church plant.
During the 7 years, we lived in Ohio the people of Utah remained heavy on our hearts. In 2018 we surrendered to move back to Utah to help spread the gospel. Since being back in Utah we have seen God do great things at Harvest Valley Baptist Church and we are excited to see what He has in store for the future.
Biography: Brother Paul was saved by the grace of God on July 21, 2003. Paul and Brittany were married in 2004 and have three daughters. The McDavid’s, including their three daughters, enjoy serving the Lord together.
